Park Tool PS-1 Disc Brake Pad Spreader

Essential for both riders and mechanics dealing with hydraulic brakes, the PS-1 Pad Spreader is a must-have tool.

Its tapered edge is specifically crafted to separate and reset hydraulic bicycle brake pads that might have been inadvertently engaged.

The head of the PS-1 resembles a segment of a disc brake rotor, boasting robust stainless steel construction. It features a long handle, dipped in vinyl for enhanced leverage and comfort during use. Moreover, the PS-1 serves as a temporary substitute for the rotor during testing or servicing of the hydraulic system, eliminating the need for repetitive wheel removal and installation.
