However, this speed is not at the expense of comfort, as the Countervail layup of the carbon suppresses fatiguing vibrations from the road and the added clearance for wider tyres allows for greater cushioning and grip. 

The 12-speed Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset now features wireless transmission from the shifters to the derailleur and battery loom, and has native Bluetooth connectivity so it can be customised and monitored by the Shimano E-Tube app. Hydraulic brakes, now with the Servo Wave technology from the mountain bike ranges, provide fantastic control and power so that the Oltre descends as quickly as it climbs.
